The sacred ginkgo tree is considered a symbol of immortality in the homeland of Taoism, in China. This plant, which appeared on earth 250 million years ago and survived the ice age, reaches two thousand years of age. It is believed that its fruits and leaves have healing power. In 1815, Johann Wolfgang Goethe dedicated a poem to his muse, Marianne von Willemer, calling it Ginkgo Biloba (Ginkgo Biloba). In his creation, the author reflected the essence of the Taoist idea: unity is embodied in diversity, and diversity is in unity, which the poet was reminded of by the forked shape of the leaf of this amazing tree. As an artist with a keen sense of the world of nature and symbols, Ilgiz Fazulzyanov could not ignore this unique plant.
